This project involved creating a piece of furniture specifically designed for a passionate reader. Crafted entirely from teak wood using traditional wooden joinery techniques, the design incorporates a unique 22° angle from 90° which makes the reclined angle at 112°, offering multiple functionalities. Final Form
This design prioritizes the reader's comfort, allowing them to settle in for extended reading sessions without strain. the 112° angle promotes a relaxed posture, making it ideal for hours of uninterrupted reading enjoyment.



New Joinery
"The challenge was connecting the backrest, legs, and seat of the chair. This was achieved using multiple lap joints, reinforced with 20mmø dowels for added strength, ensuring a robust and durable structure."
